Coquitlam School District 43 is a public kindergarten to grade 12 school district in Greater Vancouver, British Columbia, established in 1891 and now serving about 32,000 students across more than 70 schools, including around 1,200 international students. The district is consistently rated by the British Columbia Ministry of Education as one of the best school districts in the province and is the third largest school district in British Columbia. International students can study full academic years or semesters in elementary, middle, and secondary schools, with English language learning support integrated into regular Canadian classrooms. Coquitlam offers long term and short term programs, including a Summer English and Culture program, supported by government certified teachers, modern facilities, and homestay arrangements in a safe and scenic community close to Vancouver and Whistler.
