FACILITIES

Institute of Technology Sligo (ATU Sligo campus) offers a compact modern campus with teaching blocks, specialist laboratories, design studios, a library and learning resource centre, sports and recreation facilities and student support services, all on a seventy acre site close to Sligo town. Facilities support classroom based, laboratory based, studio based and online teaching, plus research and enterprise collaboration. International students also benefit from an active students’ union, clubs and societies and extensive digital learning infrastructure.

Gateway Apartments is a purpose built student village located directly beside the former IT Sligo campus and is described as purpose built student accommodation on the campus, offering modern apartments a short walk from lecture buildings and about ten minutes from Sligo town centre.

  1. Benefit: closest dedicated student accommodation to ATU Sligo, usually one to two minutes walk to campus, convenient for classes and campus facilities.
  2. Room: apartments with en suite and standard single rooms in shared two to four bedroom units, typically housing several students per apartment.

Clarion Village

Clarion Village is a large purpose built student accommodation complex of two, three and four bedroom self catering apartments in a quiet cul de sac about six hundred metres from ATU Sligo and close to Sligo town centre, marketed specifically for students and also used for summer stays.
