University of Twente (Navitas via Twente Pathway College) offers an on campus International Foundation Year that prepares international students academically and linguistically for selected bachelor programmes at the University of Twente in Enschede, the Netherlands. The pathway focuses on small group teaching, intensive English language support and subject specific modules in engineering, technology, business and social sciences, with progression to selected English taught degrees. Students benefit from studying directly on the green, residential University of Twente campus, with access to laboratories, libraries, sports and student housing while adapting to Dutch academic culture in a supportive environment.

Living Cost

Approximately EUR 1,300 per month including accommodation is a realistic estimate based on Nibud and University of Twente calculations, with typical monthly costs around €1,311 for rent, food, transport, insurance, study materials and personal expenses. Housing in Enschede is generally cheaper than in larger Dutch cities, but students should still budget carefully for rent, deposits and one time setup costs when they arrive.
